Here’s hoping your Valentine’s Day is the kindest on yet! Eclectic Living Room 1. Pay for the person’s coffee or meal behind you in a drive thru. 2. Bring a treat for a coworker who’s had a tough day/week. It could be as simple as a piece of chocolate, an encouraging note, or flowers from the grocery store. 3. Offer to babysit the kids so another couple can enjoy an evening out. 4. Send a piece of snail mail. Never underestimate the power of a hand written note and a piece of mail that isn’t a bill. 5. Take out the trash or do a few extra chores for your family or roommates. Think how much they’ll love you for cleaning out the sink. 6. Donate unwanted clothes or books to places and people that need them. 7. Spend time with your friend, family, or significant other without looking at your phone. 8. Call your parents. Ask them how they’re doing and listen…and don’t mention that favor you need. 9. Say yes next time your child, neighbor, cousin, friend’s kid, or any other little friend asks you to watch that movie for the millionth time. 10. Toss the ball for your furry friend a few more times than usual. 11. Finally ask that friend out to lunch instead of simply saying you should do lunch sometime. 12. Volunteer your Saturday morning to help a local organization. Not sure where or how to get involved? Check here. 13. Add extra change to a parking meter when you leave. It’ll help out the next person in need of a spot. 14. Roll your neighbor’s trash out on trash day. Eclectic Dining Room Have a happy and kind Valentine’s Day!
