DIY Valentine: I Love You to the Moon and Back

Since Valentine’s Day is all about love, use this card to tell friends, family, and lovers just how much they mean to you. These cards are quick to make and can save you from the crowded Valentine’s Card section at the grocery store on the morning of February 14th.

 

Moon and Back Materials

Materials Needed:
I Love You to the Moon and Back Template
Gold or yellow glitter (or pink if you’re feeling adventurous)
Glue
Pencil
Scissors

 

The Process:
1. Print out template and cut to along the black line in the center to create two cards, trimming each to size as needed to fit your envelope

 

2. At the end of the second line of text, draw a moon. It doesn’t have to be perfect since it’ll be filled with glue and glitter.

3. Outline the moon in glue and fill it in.

4. Sprinkle glitter on the glue and let it dry for at least 10-15 minutes.

5. Shake the glitter off and fill in any spots if needed. Fold the card in half and you’re all done!
