12 Days of Art: Pipers Piping Courtney Hayes December 11, 2014 12 DAYS OF ART Inspired by the eleventh day of Christmas, Anderson Design Group gives us “Eleven Pipers Piping.” Eleven Pipers Piping by Anderson Design Group via Great BIG Canvas On the eleventh day of Christmas, Anderson Design Group gave us “Eleven Pipers Piping.” Anderson Design Group was founded by Joel Anderson, an Emmy award-winning illustrator and designer, who continues to have a passion for retro designs, people, and advertising. With a strong focus on giving back to the community, the small-but-mighty staff at Anderson Design Group specializes in illustrative design, branding, product development, and poster design. The Nashville-based group draws inspiration from the 19th and early 20th centuries and does as much of their work by hand as possible, before adding final touches on the computer. The group also puts a premium on giving back to the community. As a small business, they make a difference by donating prints to local charities and opening up their doors to budding designers. Anderson Design Group might focus on creating retro designs but they are dedicated to building a colorful future for artists and their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.
